  • Listening


    • To start,  do the following listening activities:

    • Click HERE for another set of 34 multiple choice tasks. To do them, you will have to do the following: 
      1. Click on Quiz Video-Questions.
      2. Have a look at the questions.
      3. Click on Listen to the Dialogue to listen to the recordings
      4. Choose the correct option to questions 1-4.
      5. Click on Check Answer to see your marks
      6. If you are still unsure, click on show conversation Dialogue and listen again.

    Pronunciation: word stress (two syllable words)

    This video will give you further practice on word stress as we do in our lessons.

    You can follow these steps:
    • Step 1. Listen to the first example.
    • Step 2. Before you hear each of the words, stop the video and try to guess where the stress syllable is on that word.
    • Step 3. Write all the words you remember on a piece of paper and pronounce them again.
    • Step 4. Watch the video to check how many you have guessed and how many you have missed.
